What I do on Sunday afternoon

My wonderful roommies bought the most awesome Christmas Tree for our most awesome house, aka 'The Club House.' 'TaH duh, isn't she beautiful?,' the tree that is.

I just got a new fancy Kitchen Aid blender and I hadn't tried it out yet. Sunday afternoon we had some friends over for dinner. I was in charge of making mash potatoes, but we don't have a masher. I had a brilliant idea that I could blend it up and make pseudo mashed potatoes. Boy was I wrong. So I tried out my blender, and I got a gooey potato mixture as seen below. I thought I would have to throw it away but I got creative. Adrienne told me to try to make potato biscuits. To my surprise they turned out to be delicious! So I learned a lesson, if your try something that isn't working then make a few changes and you might create a masterpiece.

Unlimitied....

"The first step in moving towards our dreams is admitting first that you're worthy of such a destination. The rest, all falls into place. Spirituality contains alot of paradoxes. One of them is to trust in God and let go. By surrendering you actually gain the ability to heal, grow and cope with even the most difficult circumstances. That is the place where the miracles happen, and they do. When you let go, the magic starts. Imagine not having to be afraid and hurt. You just know it will be ok. It is possible to live like that."

The good, the bad, and the UGLY

BECAUSE WE GOTTA BEAUTIFUL HOUSE TO CELEBRATE!!!

'Tis the season for parties! Since we just moved we thought the occasion appropriate for an ugly sweater party. We did have quite a few superific sweaters! We had food perfect for a chocolate fountain but didn't have the fountain, and enough pomegranate 7-up left over that we could bathe in it.

Yes my mom did have a blanket like that, yes he does plug into the wall to light up, and she can walk like an Egyptian.

Yes the club house also allows pets. This is Gulrie the Gorilla, our dear friend John thought he might like a night out at the club house and Gulrie got some attention from the ladies.

Pucker up! Everybody gets a kiss under the mistletoe. A little 'Blue Steel' might do the trick as well.
