Lovin' chocolate pear jam. I just want to eat it, not spread it! Imagine this...chocolate sauce with deliciously large chunks of pear in it.
Grateful that I have the friends I do. Amen!
Picked up the GRE book again. Hmmmm...progress.
I love painting my nails RED. Not working in the hospital has benefits. I can paint my nails whatever color I want.
I had an awesome weekend. Friday was slightly laid back. I visited patients and the BG office. Then I rushed home, changed and went to a friend's, who on a side note has an amazing house. When I pulled up there was yard sale stuff lining the streets. I was so confused. There was a couple searching through the stuff, and said to me:'I am taking your trash' Interesting concept. I come to find out that every spring people put out the goods they no longer want and people come by, dig through the rubbish and find a treasure. True as the saying goes, 'one man's garbage is another man's treasure.'
We made Indian food, which was delightful. I love anything Indian. And we watched a British film (with an Indian girl in it :) ) called Angus, Thongs, and perfect Snogging. Yeah the title is a bit strange but you just gotta see the movie. Hilarious!
Saturday was a whirl. I had home visits to finish up for the week early AM. Then I had clinic all day at the Esthetic Institute. Lame-O. Can't wait to be done with that already. I fortunately didn't have any clients after 3pm so I met up with a friend, Erin, and went rollerblading. Yes, we did in fact Rollerblade, that isn't a typo. The Mount Vernon trail isn't too bad for the skates. It was a blast! I have a rollerblading buddy. That is a miracle. I loved the 90's and I kinda still live in them occasionally. Which brings me to the rest of my evening. Game night...a little Apples to Apples, and Taboo. Last but not least, LASER TAG! It was brilliant all up to the point where I plowed over my friend. I disobeyed the rules, I was running. I felt horrible. Lesson learned. I got 29 and 30 place. I'm not to quickest draw of the group you could say.
